Alexander Court Memory Care, located in a cozy neighborhood of downtown Santa Barbara, specializes in the care of residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Residents reside with dignity in a supportive, caring environment. Alexander Court staff are dedicated to caring for each resident as an individual. We take time to learn about your loved ones past life experiences, favorite activities and daily routine. This enables us to encourage independence, support the resident's strengths and capabilities, and assist them with their needs in a loving and dignified manner. Freedom of movement and choice of activities are at the cornerstone of our innovative memory care activity program. Our daily activities program is designed specifically to maximize quality of life. Spacious common areas, cozy sitting rooms and enclosed courtyards offer residents and their families comfortable areas to visit and ample room to engage in favorite activities. Fireplaces add warmth and comfort on cool days and specially designed spaces allow residents to enjoy gardening, baking, listening to music or simply relaxing.
